Upcoming Financial Modeling Classes
Everyone starts the new year with new ideas, new goals, new business ideas. I have a bunch of new classes about financial modeling coming up to help you work on those ideas. No matter where you are in the world, there’s an option for you.
1) Financial Modeling for Entrepreneurs, Jan 14, New York City
On Jan 14 I’m teaching an in-person class from 7 to 8:30 PM in Soho, NYC. I’ve taught this class for the past couple of years through Skillshare, General Assembly, Venture for America, and numerous accelerators (here’s what people think about the class). We spend our time talking about the building blocks of financial models, the thought process to use, and work through a financial model example during the class to show it in practice. This class will sell out. More here.
(If you can’t make Jan 14 or the class is sold out, watch the class on Skillshare to get notified the next time I teach it.)
2) Essentials of Startup Finance, Jan 23 and 24, General Assembly in Berlin, Germany
On Jan 23 and 24th, I’m teaching a two-part class at General Assembly in Berlin, Germany. The first class focuses on finance fundamentals, aiming to give first-time founders without a finance background a crash course on the fundamental finance terminology and theories that entrepreneurs need. The second class focuses on financial modeling, and covers the building blocks of financial modeling and goes through a case study in class. More here.
3) Financial Modeling for Entrepreneurs, Jan 28 through Feb 21, Online
From Jan 28 through Feb 21, I’m hosting a four week online class through Skillshare. It’s structured as a project class to provide the information, structure, and communication (with me and other class members) to help you build a financial model for your business. Over 500 people took the class last fall, and the curriculum and project has been updated to make it even better. More here.
